A little known fact about the bakery is their caring side. My church picks up bread that didn't sale the day before, and we take that bread and some soup and go under the Washington/Jefferson bridge on Sunday and hand it out. The bakery charges us nothing and are always happy to help out. We are not the only place that ask for free bread. The bakery will split the donation as far as it goes, and it always seems to go far enough. If we don't give away all of the bread, we take it to the mission. Thank you Eugene City Bakery. Friendly St. Church of God thinks you are "HOT".
